Dear friends,

Tomorrow will be a big day for faith and family issues!  Senate Bill (SB) 18 by Senator Bryan Hughes to ban drag queen "story hours" in municipal libraries will be heard tomorrow in the Senate State Affairs Committee! See the committee posting here.

This bill would put a stop to the inappropriate and early hypersexualization of our children through "story hour" time where a man dressed as a woman reads stories which promote exploring topics of sexuality and transgender issues. It has been shown in the past that some of these readers also perform at homosexual adult venues.

This indoctrination and early sexualization of children must be stopped! LGBT advocacy groups are coming out in droves tomorrow to take down SB 18 and we need your help!

Please consider coming to the Capitol to testify or call your state senator and tell them to stand firm for Texas children on SB 18!  All Republican senators have signed on in support of the bill, so thank them for their position!

What: SB 18, Ban on Drag Queen Story Hours at Libraries

When: Thursday, February 27, at 9 a.m.

Where: Texas Senate Chamber (2nd Floor, Main Capitol)

Please call the members of the Texas Senate State Affairs Committee and tell them you support SB 18. Be sure to thank those that have already signed on in support of the bill (all Republicans have).
