John, Tomorrow is Term Limits Day. But more importantly, it's likely the day South Dakota will vote on bypassing Congress and call the Term Limits Convention. Our legislation has already passed the South Dakota House. Only a single vote in the state senate remains. If we win this vote it, will be yet another example of how support and momentum is building for term limits on Congress. Remember, Congress cannot stop the states from calling this convention to place term limits on the U.S. House and Senate. Once 34 states pass our legislation, it's a done deal. The Term Limits Convention will be called and we will get term limits on Congress. That's why each additional state that approves the convention is such a big deal. And why the vote tomorrow in South Dakota is historic. So, please cross your fingers. Tomorrow could be huge, and our hard work is about the pay off! And, please, if you can, please make a donation for Term Limits Day. If we win in South Dakota, we will have to pivot fast to states like Georgia, Arizona and Indiana where we are closing on a final vote, too. Please do what you can! |
