john –
We’ve all seen the news – Elon Musk's access to our private information should alarm every one of us.
He's not even a DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) employee, but his decisions are impacting millions of Americans, even those who don’t know it yet, and he’s only getting started.
Musk’s and Trump's extreme breach of privacy and trust goes against everything the American people are asking for. We need accountability in the decisions made by those with power, and we need leadership that puts people first.
Whether it’s ensuring our privacy is protected or that big tech companies don’t hold more power than our government, we can’t allow this trend to continue. I spent today holding my Republican colleagues accountable for their silence in the face of these intrusions into our privacy and the sidelining of Congress. I’ll continue to fight to make sure elected representatives stand up for the people we represent and we don’t hand the reins over to un-elected billionaires or corporate giants with their own interests in mind. I need your help to keep fighting for our values, our privacy, and our democracy.
Look – this is our shortest end-of-month push, and we're still not quite where we need to be to hit our crucial $15,000 fundraising goal. Can I count on you to chip in $10, or whatever you can, to help me continue standing up for accountability and fairness in Congress? >> [link removed]
Thank you,
Kim
