It’s the team here at Ruiz HQ. Did you get the Congressman’s message to you yesterday?
The House GOP has written a budget that would slash funding for Medicaid and SNAP in favor of tax breaks for their billionaire buddies.
Dr. Ruiz won’t stand for attempts to make the American people poorer and sicker by the very people elected to serve them — but he needs your help to keep fighting back in Congress.
Donald Trump gained 13 points in CA-25 in 2024, and he won’t stop there. We have to be ready for ANYTHING Republicans might throw our way in 2025. Will you chip in $10 or any amount to support Dr. Ruiz and help us reach our $15,000 February goal before our deadline in just two days?
We’ve forwarded Dr. Ruiz’s original message below — consider giving it a read if you have a few minutes to spare. As always, thanks for your support!

TRUTHOUT: Trump Backs House GOP Bill Slashing $1 Trillion From Medicaid and Food Stamps
Republicans are cutting Medicaid “to pay for tax breaks for the richest 1 percent of Americans”
Donald Trump has endorsed a budget written by the House GOP that would make the American people poorer and sicker — all so that he can fund a tax break for his billionaire buddies.
Let’s be clear: this is unacceptable, and I’m going to push back in any way I can. As one of the few emergency medical doctors in Congress, I know firsthand just how devastating these cuts to Medicaid could be.
But if I’m going to keep fighting in Congress, I need your help.
My Congressional district went from a +15 Biden victory in 2020 to just a +2 lead this last November.
That means that in 2026, I’m at the top of the GOP’s target list. They’re going to spend millions of dollars trying to unseat me.
That’s why I’m asking you: Can you chip in $10 or even $25 to my reelection campaign? My team tells me we need to raise $15,000 by the end of the month in order to stay on track with our goals.
