Politicians want to take more of your money, but this is your chance to join thousands of taxpayers to say NO.

On April 1, MPs from every party are taking another pay raise. Their pay raise will range from an extra $7,900 to $15,800.

After the raise, a backbench MP’s salary will be about $211,000, ministers will collect about $311,500 and the prime minister’s salary will be about $422,000.

And this will be their SIXTH pay raise since the beginning of 2020.

While you struggled through a pandemic and an inflation-crisis, your MP has taken more of your money to increase their own pay.

And when MPs take pay raises, government bureaucrats also demand more money from taxpayers like you. If MPs don’t stop their own pay raises, how will they ever have the moral authority to make cuts to the bureaucracy?

The raises happen every year because no political party has had the guts to break ranks and make a stink about it. They take more money and hope you won’t notice.

But this year is different. An election is right around the corner. Do you think MPs want to go door knocking right after taking another taxpayer-funded raise?

You can help put an end to the MP pay raises. But you need to act now. You can’t wait until after the next election.

The first step for you to join the fight is to sign the petition demanding an end to politician pay raises.
