Hi there, it’s Kansas Governor Laura Kelly. As DGA Chair, I have an urgent message for you – so I kept this email to just ten sentences. Please take a moment to read every word.

This November and in 2026, there are 38 governors’ races across the country. It’s never been more important to elect Democratic governors who will deliver on the issues that make a real difference in people’s lives. But the extreme GOP will throw everything they can at us to defeat Democratic governors and tear down our blue firewall – which is why I’m asking for your help today.

I know firsthand what it takes to win tough races, and I’ve seen how critical the DGA and grassroots supporters like you are to achieving victory.

Early insight and strategy are the only way to be successful in tough matchups. We need to be prepared, so I personally selected you to complete my DGA Chair’s Priorities Survey – can you respond before midnight?
