Over the next few days, we will be reaching out with some important requests. So I wanted to send you a personal note today explaining why.

A few weeks ago, we set an ambitious goal of raising 5,000 donations in May. We are no strangers to difficult challenges and big goals here, so I really think we can meet this goal with your help.

When you donate $3 and another person donates $3, things really add up and make a difference. We count on our supporters to help so that we can continue to do the important work we have set out as an organization -- to change our leaders, change our laws, and save lives.

That's why it's so important that we hit our goal and it's going to take a big grassroots effort to make it happen.

So before our deadline comes to a close on Sunday, I have to ask:

If you are able, will you chip in $3 today to help us hit our 5,000 donation May fundraising goal? Your support, regardless of the amount, will go a long way.

We set goals like this and ask for your support because we're working towards solutions that will make a real impact and save lives.

With your support, we will help elect gun safety candidates, fight to pass universal background checks, and do our part to make our country a safer, better place for all.
