In 2023, we mobilized a massive grassroots effort to help flip the
Wisconsin Supreme Court. Since then, the court has issued critical rulings
on fair redistricting and voting rights, and will likely hear cases on
abortion, worker rights, and a whole range of issues impacting not just
Wisconsin, but the entire country.
However, that liberal majority that we helped build is now at risk. In
just over a month, there’s an election for an open seat on the court. If
conservatives win it, they could undo the progress we’ve made, open the
door to implementing a MAGA agenda in Wisconsin, and put democracy at risk
in a crucial battleground state.
Conservatives are already pouring money into this race with Elon Musk and
MAGA dark money groups spending at least $2,670,000 to try to buy this
election. Musk is not only determined to infiltrate every level of the
federal government, he’s coming after our local elections, too.
We’re not going to let him get away with it.
Wisconsin Indivisibles have endorsed liberal candidate Susan Crawford for
the seat, and they’re already working to engage voters ahead of the April
1 election. We’re prepared to support them with all the tools and
resources they need to win this race. But if we’re going to beat Musk and
keep the court out of MAGA hands, we’re going to need your help.

A little more about the stakes
When we put out our new Indivisible Guide, we noted that power is not held
just in DC -- it’s distributed across the entire country. MAGA
billionaires like Musk are honing in on this race because they understand
that if they want to implement their agenda -- whether that’s undermining
worker rights, imposing unpopular abortion bans, or subverting our
elections -- they need to control all levels of government.
While Musk and Trump carry out their coup in DC, state-level institutions
like the Wisconsin Supreme Court become critical xxxxxxs against tyranny
-- as long as we can hold on to the majority. Winning this election will
mean protecting rights for Wisconsinites and having a court that will defy
efforts by MAGA Republicans to tamper with 2026 elections.

This isn’t the first time billionaires have tried to buy a Supreme Court
seat in Wisconsin. In 2023, we were up against MAGA billionaires who
flooded the race with so much cash that it became the most expensive
judicial election in US history. We beat them by running a strategic,
grassroots-oriented campaign focused on the most effective ways to get out
