I hope this note finds you and your family doing well and returning to some
level of normalcy as our state and nation reopens.  The past three months have
brought personal and financial devastation for so many, and our hearts go out
to those who are have lost a loved one or are struggling.  We’ve also seen the
very best of America – love of neighbor, resolve, innovation, and a strength of
spirit that has always driven our nation’s exceptionalism.

 

 

Seeing the resiliency of our community has motivated me more than ever to be
your fighter in Congress.  So, with the primary just around the corner on June
9, let me give you a quick update on the campaign.

 

 

Momentum continues as conservative leaders unite behind my candidacy.  The
grassroots and get-out-the-vote efforts grow every day.  And, it’s all laying
the foundation for a win on June 9 and winning in November.

I am honored to receive President Trump’s endorsement and am humbled by his
words of support and encouragement.  I look forward to working with our
President in 2021 and doing all I can to be a strong representative for the
people of GA-6!

 



 

Greeting Vice President Pence on Friday

 

 

What an honor to greet Vice President Pence as he departed Dobbins Airforce
Base last Friday.  Yep, we were social distancing and shared an ‘elbow bump.’ 
The Vice President and his coronavirus taskforce have been doing incredible
work, and he was in town to meet with Georgia elected officials and business
leaders to see firsthand how Georgians are leading the charge on restarting our
economy.

 



GA-6 is On the Radar!

 

 

House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy and the National Republican Congressional
Committee (NRCC) have named me, along with 14 other top candidates, to the
NRCC’s high level of support – the “Young Guns.”  The Young Guns program
supports Republican candidates across the country by providing resources to run
winning campaigns against Democrat opponents. My elevation to this top level
reflects the high likelihood that I can defeat Lucy McBath!

 

 

President Trump’s support – along with the support of Governor Kemp and so
many local elected officials – the backing of Congressional Republican
Leadership and Georgia’s House Delegation, and the highest designation with the
NRCC sends a clear signal to Republicans nationwide that GA-6 is winnable and
that I’m the right candidate to take it back.My immediate focus is winning the
Republican primary on June 9, and then, we will take the fight to out-of-touch,
out-of-sight Lucy McBath.

 



 

Rockin’ the Grassroots (virtually!)

 

 

The COVID crisis forced a bit of realigning and adjusting in campaigning, so
we “zoomed” our way through trainings and workshops and loaded up apps for
at-home campaigning. Since the beginning of April, the amazing volunteers and
interns with Team Handel have made over 200,000 calls to voters across GA-6.

 

 

And, our volunteers have sent thousands of personal postcards!

 

 

Of course, with just under two weeks until Primary Day, it’s SIGN TIME!  So,
Steve and I have been hitting the road to deliver signs to supporters in every
corner of the district.  It’s a great way to catch up with voters and tour our
amazing community . . . and the lack of traffic was pretty nice too! Click here

Endorsements, the grassroots ground game, our presence in our community =
MOMENTUM.

 

 

Most importantly, though, it’s about strong leadership for GA-6.  More than
ever, we need serious leaders with the experience to advance policies to
rebuild our economy.  In Congress, I’ll put my experience to work – to create
jobs, support our small businesses, advocate for our veterans, and fight for
the issues that matter to you and your family.
