*State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) to Join Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors When They Meet February 25-26, 2025 in Cheyenne*

 

WBC to Hold Public Work Session on February 25th, Joined by SLIB, and Quarterly Board Meeting on February 26th




Members of the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) will be participating in a public work session with the Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors on Tuesday, February 25th at the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services office at 521 Yellowstone Road in Cheyenne. The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. The WBC Board will meet at the same location the following day, February 26th, at 8 a.m. for their quarterly meeting. 

The public may join the work session and/or board meeting virtually at wbc.pub/wbc_meeting [ [link removed] ] or by calling 1.669.900.6833; enter Meeting ID 295-704-768 (no PIN required, press # when prompted). If joining by phone, please note your ability to interact with the panelists may be limited due to system limitations.

Members of the public who wish to speak during the February 26th board meeting should email [email protected] before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25th, stating your name and the topic you wish to address. 

 

*Public Work Session*

The WBC will host a panel discussion on Tuesday, February 25th, at 2 p.m. facilitated by Business Council CEO Josh Dorrell. Panelists include Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray, State Auditor Kristi Racines, State Treasurer Curt Meier, and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Megan Degenfelder.

The panel will explore 


* Perspectives on the economic challenges Wyoming faces;
* How to move the Wyoming economy forward; and 
* How to use our tools to build community resilience.

WPMA NOTICE: This portion of the meeting is a work session only and will not include discussion or transaction of public business.

 

WBC Board of Directors Quarterly Meeting

During the WBC Board meeting on Wednesday, February 26th, the Board will consider one Business Ready Community (BRC) Business Committed grant and loan request from the City of Laramie and conduct other regular business.
