Today I reintroduced the Protect America’s Innovation and Economic Security from CCP Act, which passed the House last Congress on a bipartisan vote.

My bill will establish a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Initiative within the Department of Justice to aggressively counter CCP threats to American businesses, universities, and national security.

China has stolen from our businesses, infiltrated our institutions, and undermined our economy for far too long. This bill will ensure the U.S. government has the resources to expose, investigate, and prosecute those who seek to weaken America.

Key Provisions of the Bill:

- Investigate and prosecute CCP espionage, hacking, and trade secret theft.

- Protect U.S. businesses from unfair competition and foreign influence.

- Strengthen interagency coordination between the DOJ, FBI, and national security agencies.

I will continue fighting to secure our nation and protect our economy from China's efforts to undermine and destroy it.
