John, when many pundits discuss immigration, Black immigrants are too often left out of the conversation. Haitian, Jamaican, Nigerian, Ethiopian women—they care for our children, clean our homes, and support our aging loved ones. Their labor is essential, yet their struggles are rarely mentioned.

This erasure is dangerous. It means Black immigrant workers, mostly women, face the worst of anti-immigrant sentiment. It means their needs can be ignored in policy debates. It means that as anti-immigrant lies spread, their voices are silenced.

We refuse to stand idly by while Black immigrant domestic workers are isolated and silenced. We Dream in Black builds community, provides legal resources, and amplifies Black immigrant domestic workers in the fight for dignity and respect. Donate to We Dream in Black today and show Black immigrant domestic workers they are not forgotten. [[link removed]]

Black immigrant workers are overrepresented in dangerous, underpaid jobs. Many are paid off the books, vulnerable to wage theft and abuse. They are disproportionately detained and deported, even as they provide essential care. Escalating attacks on immigrant communities makes them even more vulnerable.

But their story isn't just about survival—it's about leadership.

At We Dream in Black, we see this leadership every day. Black immigrant domestic workers are organizing and demanding change. They're training to fight wage theft and abuse, finding community in spaces like our Monday Night Live gatherings, and strategizing for the future.

They aren't just seeking protection—they're building power.

We Dream in Black mobilizes them to challenge anti-immigrant hate, demand fair wages, and rewrite the rules that were never designed to include them.

When racist policies target Black immigrants, when lies are spread, and when workers are exploited, We Dream in Black helps them fight back.

We refuse to sit by while anti-immigrant rhetoric escalates, while Black workers are targeted, while nannies, housekeepers, and home care workers are forced to be invisible.

Stand with Black immigrant domestic workers who refuse to be erased. [[link removed]] Donate to We Dream in Black today. Your contribution directly supports their organizing, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected. [[link removed]]
