Illinois Governor JB Pritzker (our founder!) just signed a bill that will help keep abuse survivors safe.

‘Karina’s Law’ closes a loophole that formerly enabled some people who had domestic violence protection orders against them to keep their weapons. Now, law enforcement has more authority to step in and remove weapons if a court deems it necessary to prevent further harm to survivors.

This law is an incredible step forward to protect survivors.
