There are 3.7 million people internally displaced, and 12 million in need of assistance. Americares continues to respond to the devastating crisis.
➡️ When Russia launched its full-scale attack on Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022, Americares quickly mobilized an emergency response team to Poland where we coordinated the urgent delivery of lifesaving medicines and medical supplies into Ukraine. Our team also partnered with local organizations in surrounding countries to provide essential health services to those fleeing the conflict.
