Hi Neighbor,
In case you missed it, I wanted to make sure you knew that the deadline to apply to join my advisory council is fast approaching!
This is a unique opportunity for residents of Illinois’ 14th Congressional District to directly share their perspectives, concerns, and ideas on key policy issues. I meet regularly with these passionate, civically engaged members of our community to get insight and perspective into important issues in the 14th District.
These are the requirements for participating in the council:
- Must reside in the 14th district of Illinois.
- Must be able to attend meetings (transportation is not provided for meetings that take place in person). Meeting dates will be set—and may change—according to the Congressional calendar.
- Must be willing to engage colleagues and community members regarding the work of the council and congressional office.
- Must be willing to serve a full term ending in December 2026. As a council member, you will have the chance to meet with Congresswoman Underwood and her team, discuss the challenges facing our community, and help shape solutions that make a real difference.
