Republicans just passed a budget plan that slashes Medicaid, cuts food assistance for seniors, and guts services for children with disabilities — all while adding $3 trillion to the national debt. Why? To give massive tax breaks to billionaires like Elon Musk.

On top of that, Musk's so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has already hit close to home. Thirteen workers at Lake Mead National Recreation Area were fired, including one responsible for monitoring toxic water levels. This reckless move doesn't just endanger employees — it puts visitors and families at risk by threatening the safety of our public spaces.

Worse still, these cuts do absolutely nothing to lower gas prices, reduce grocery costs, or make housing more affordable.
