New Mexico and our entire country is facing a decisive moment.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk are working diligently to divide Americans and disrupt our way of life. Their agenda serves billionaires first, leaving everyday families footing the bill for their outrageous tax cuts.

As I’m writing to you, Trump has unlawfully threatened to dismantle the Department of Education, laid off thousands of federal workers who care for our public lands, and halted renewable energy projects.

Trump and Elon are hurting real people, and I’m not going to stand for it.

I’ve taken direct action with my colleagues to force a vote on legislation that terminates Trump’s fake “energy emergency” to ensure affordable, American-made energy can continue to lower costs for families and create new jobs.

As a father and New Mexico’s senior senator, I will do whatever it takes to put a stop to the Trump administration’s attacks and ensure that future generations aren’t forced to pick up the pieces of his disastrous actions.

New Mexicans are counting on us to deliver, but with my focus on the fight, I haven’t been able to spend time on fundraising. I need your help.
