“House GOP narrowly passes Trump budget blueprint that threatens Medicaid"
John, last night, House Republicans passed their budget resolution that takes aim at critical programs millions of Americans rely on – by a single vote!
Just look at what’s in the bill:
❌ Up to $880 BILLION in potential Medicaid cuts, which over 72 million Americans rely on
❌ As much as $230 BILLION in potential SNAP cuts, which over 42 million Americans use
❌ Hiking taxes for everyone except the wealthiest 5%
❌ And much more harmful policy – giving more tax cuts to Elon Musk, Trump, and his billionaire backers
But Donald Trump’s plan is OVERWHELMINGLY unpopular across the country. New polling even shows that even among Trump voters, 71% DON’T SUPPORT Medicaid cuts!
That’s why we’re asking for 20,000 signatures this afternoon to show that Americans everywhere OPPOSE the GOP’s far-right extremist bill that serves Trump’s billionaire cronies at the expense of hardworking Americans.
