Dear John,
At World Land Trust (WLT), our work is guided by the promise of taking ‘actions that create incredible chain reactions’. Last year, our spring Appeal - Connecting Ukuwela – was an opportunity to do just that in South Africa.

Thanks to the donations of WLT supporters, we
successfully reached our £621,000 fundraising target to help connect and expand our partner Wild Tomorrow’s Greater Ukuwela Nature Reserve (GUNR).

Donations from the appeal have enabled Wild Tomorrow to purchase
Sisonke Farm - a 296 hectare (731 acre) property that previously divided the GUNR from East to West. All internal and boundary fences have also now been removed from Sisonke. This has bridged the gap in the reserve and allowed wildlife to roam freely across the full expanse of their home for the first time.
