Dear John,
The fight for our rights and for the future we deserve is a year-round endeavor, and women are on the front lines. I am excited to introduce you to three women who are on the ballot in their cities on March 11, 2025: Kerri-Ann Nesbeth [[link removed]] , Marlene Shaw [[link removed]] , and Rebecca Shelton [[link removed]] .
With the chaos happening in our Republican-lead state and federal government, it is essential that we take back local power everywhere and elect leaders who are competent, caring, and responsible.

Kerri-Ann Nesbeth is running for Miramar City Commission, Seat 4. She stands out in this race for her career in municipal government and administration and dedication to community service. Kerri-Ann has lived in the City of Miramar for over 25 years. She credits her parents, immigrants from Jamaica, for instilling in her the importance of hard work and determination. From tutoring youth in her neighborhood to serving on municipal boards and task forces, Kerri-Ann has devoted herself to uplifting students, bettering representation for people of color, and helping those around her.

DONATE TO MARLENE [[link removed]]
Marlene Shaw is a candidate for the Gulfport City Council, Ward II, and is running against two Republican candidates, one of which is the incumbent City Councilmember. A Gulfport resident of 30 years, Marlene is proud to call the city her forever home and is determined to help it grow and better serve its residents. She brings professional experience as a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and licensed Florida Community Association Manager; and would bring valuable experience in financial and administrative management to the City Council. Marlene also volunteers with numerous community organizations, from the Neighborhood Crime Watch to environmental conservation groups.

DONATE TO REBECCA [[link removed]]
If elected, Rebecca Shelton would be the first woman to serve as Mayor of Boynton Beach in over three decades. This is an open seat and Rebecca has the dedication to win this race and best serve this city. A Boynton Beach resident since 2005, Rebecca has worked in her community by helping nonpartisan candidates for local office in south Florida, while also being a Real Estate Broker and business owner. As a community member, she’s remained engaged with her local leaders to improve the city’s safety, support local businesses, and be a voice for all residents.
John, I hope that you can contribute to these women’s campaigns today: whether as a donor or by signing up to volunteer with a candidate near you!
Together,
Cassidy Whitaker
