Here’s the truth about what athletes are up against right now during the coronavirus outbreak:

• Special Olympics teams can’t hit the field right now to play and compete –– leaving thousands of athletes feeling disappointed, confused, and isolated.
• Canceled and postponed events will likely lead to a drop in funding, which would affect our programs for athletes and their families.
• People with intellectual disabilities (ID) are at greater risk for COVID-19, yet often face significant challenges in accessing quality health services.

Your donation will help us address these challenges. With your gift, you’ll help us ramp up our efforts to keep athletes connected with one another through digital programs, online meetups, and virtual workouts.
