Dear John,

Every time I look at my phone or read the news these days, another distressing headline demands my attention. The rise of anti-identity, anti-equity movements is designed to overwhelm and distract us, and prevent us from building solutions. Jeannette Pai-Espinosa and Jenice Fountain are being honored as Women of Vision this year because they're doing exactly that — building solutions that create the collective power we need to win true equity. Their leadership fills me with hope, resolve, and motivation.

I can't wait for you to meet Jeannette and Jenice at our 2025 Women of Vision Awards on April 29, at the Ziegfeld Ballroom. You can buy tickets and learn about sponsorship opportunities here.

If you can't wait until April and you need a lift today, I encourage you to learn more about these powerful Women of Vision below.

Jeannette Pai-Espinosa, President of Justice + Joy National Collaborative

Jeannette Pai-Espinosa has led Justice and Joy National Collaborative since 2007, through the reinvention of this 141-year-old intergenerational gender and racial justice nonprofit engaged in advocacy, organizing and research. Her commitment to advocating with and for girls, young women and gender expansive young people of color began as a young activist in the 70’s. This is where her firm belief in the “nothing about us without us” practice and a dedication to following the leadership of those most impacted by all forms of oppression and the intersections of them was born. Justice + Joy works collaboratively across the country with staff in 5 states and Canada, young advocates in 40+ states and community-based partners in 45+ states.

Jenice Fountain, Executive Director of Yellowhammer Fund

Jenice Fountain is a mother of three that entered Reproductive Justice work before she had language for it. After navigating near homelessness and needing resources including abortion care despite working 50 hours a week, she founded Margins: Women Helping Black Women to fill the intentional gaps that Black parents fall through due to heavily stigmatized services in Alabama. Margins addressed the financial and material needs of Black parents in Birmingham. She brings this Family Justice lens to her role as E.D of The Yellowhammer Fund, an abortion advocacy and Reproductive Justice Organization in Alabama.

Thank you for supporting the critical work of Jeannette, Jenice, and hundreds of other feminist leaders through Ms. Foundation. Get your tickets to the Women of Vision Awards today!

I look forward to seeing you there!
