At the end of January, Iowa Democrats had a huge upset. We flipped two seats during our special election, and kicked off the year with strong momentum.

In two weeks, we have the chance to do it all over again.

Democrat Nannette Griffin is running to fill the vacancy in Iowa House District 100 in a special election on Tuesday, March 11th.

This isn’t an easy seat - it was most recently represented by a Republican and Trump won it, but they said that in January too. We have the chance to secure another victory and decrease GOP control in the Iowa House.

We know we can do it. Iowans are tired of the GOP’s antics — both at the federal and state level. Republicans are too busy trying to lower taxes for corporations, that they’re neglecting the hardworking middle class.

As a small business owner, Nannette’s priority is to lower costs for Southeast Iowa. But since this is a special election, she needs a lot of help to get her message to voters before it’s too late.
