Dear neighbor,

This week, Trump announced his support for the House Republican budget. He calls it the “big beautiful bill.” In reality, this bill is anything but beautiful. It takes money away from health care and food assistance programs to give a $4.5 trillion tax cut to the richest billionaires.

Cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, which help keep Americans healthy and fed, would hurt people in every community. This budget is a rip off plain and simple. Every day, I hear from constituents and people around the country who are concerned with high prices for goods and services. This bill does nothing to address those concerns, and I will not support big payouts to billionaires that come at the expense of everyday Americans.

As I’ve reiterated these past few weeks, public sentiment truly matters. To counter Trump’s extremism, we have to keep fighting. I’m in this with you, and I will never bow down to any self-proclaimed king.

TRUMP SCARED OF PUTIN: I went on CNN to call out Trump buddying up to Putin and spreading Russian disinformation. It is highly disturbing. The American people want a President to show strength, not weakness. Watch a clip here

DOGE INCOMPETENCY: Like many constituents, I continue to be outraged by Trump and Musk’s gross mismanagement of the federal government. “Accidentally” firing workers who are trying to contain bird flu and oversee our nuclear weapons is disgraceful and dangerous. Claiming $8 billion in spending was cut, when really it was only $8 million, is absolute incompetence. How are we supposed to trust people who can’t even count their zeros? I will continue to speak out about this Administration’s absurd actions.
