But because Zeldin has a record of fighting on behalf of Republican special interests instead of for Suffolk County families, Trump allies are flooding our race to prop Zeldin up. We’ve got our work cut out for us. That’s why I’m counting on you more than ever to help us reach our May goal.

It’s clearer than ever that we need scientists in Washington. Trump has suggested we consider using disinfectant to clean our lungs, attacked and sidelined Dr. Fauci, ousted the official leading the fight to find a vaccine, “muzzled” CDC officials, and bragged about using a drug that health officials consider dangerous.

We can’t afford to lose this race and allow the GOP to continue undermining facts and data. But winning won’t be easy.
