After counsel from Katie Britt, President Trump takes most pro-IVF action in
federal history

On Tuesday afternoon, President Donald Trump made good on a campaign promise
that began in Alabama.

He signed an executive order directing federal agencies to develop policies
that protect IVF access and reduce both out-of-pocket expenses and health plan
costs.

The goal will make fertility treatments more affordable for families hoping to
conceive.

For Trump, the decision wasn’t all policy – it was personal, and shaped in
large measure by U.S. Senator Katie Britt.

Katie Britt advocates for ‘Kids Off Social Media Act in Senate floor speech

U.S. Senator Katie Britt is pushing for the implementation of “common sense
solutions” to fight the youth mental health crisis that has been made worse by
the widespread use of social media.

As part of her effort, the lawmaker from Alabama has reintroduced legislation
that she believes will help protect the country’s youth from the damaging
effects of unregulated social media usage.

Britt, Tuberville urge Patel to fill slots at FBI’s campus on Redstone Arsenal

FBI Director Kash Patel told Sens. Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville he will
fill open positions at the FBI’s campus on Redstone Arsenal.

Patel’s comments came ahead of his confirmation hearing before the Senate
Judiciary Committee last week. He was confirmed today by the full Senate.

Britt and Tuberville sent a letter to Patel today following his confirmation
urging him to immediately fill 1,000 of the open slots at the agency’s campus
in Huntsville.
