John,
Elon Musk is a danger to the world.
He’s meddling in politics all across the globe and promoting hateful narratives. He even gave a Nazi salute at a Trump rally!
But Elon Musk is not invincible.
In fact, Tesla — the company that made him a billionaire — is tanking all over the world. People from the US to Germany to China are refusing to give their money to an unhinged billionaire with unchecked power.
More than ever, we must keep up the pressure.
If we amplify the call on shareholders to ditch Tesla — we can keep hitting Musk where it hurts and show him that his reckless actions have real consequences.
We’re up against the richest man in the world — this will only work if everyone joins:
Tell shareholders: it's time to #ditchTesla
In recent weeks, we've been seeing growing concern by Tesla shareholders over Musk’s erratic behavior.
Norway’s sovereign wealth fund — one of the biggest investors in Tesla and one of the largest and most powerful institutional investors in the world — has repeatedly voted no on Elon Musk’s pay package in previous years, and now the CEO is publicly clashing with Musk.
And the Dutch civil service pension fund -- one of the largest funds in the world -- just divested from Tesla!
At the end of the day, what matters most to the majority of shareholders is Tesla’s stock price and the company’s ability to grow. But after Musk’s recent antics, it’s looking grim. Stocks are down from $480 in December, to $350 in January.
While there are many factors that have led to electric vehicle sales dropping, we are witnessing a steeper decline for Tesla specifically.
Now Tesla drivers all over the world are putting bumper stickers that read things like “I bought this before Elon Musk lost his mind.”
It’s undeniable that Musk’s power trip is having serious consequences on Tesla. Now we need to keep up the pressure to show shareholders that investing in a Musk company is bad for business and for the world.
Tell Tesla shareholders: #ditchTesla
