He lied. We should not be surprised by that. 

FIRST: Donald Trump SWORE that he “knew nothing about” Project 2025, the far-right manifesto that would send us back into the dark ages and prioritize tax cuts for billionaire MAGA donors on the back of the American people – if implemented.

THEN: Trump and his unelected Co-President Elon Musk spent the last month creating havoc in a hostile takeover of our federal government and plotting to DESTROY our lifesaving initiatives for the American people, including the Affordable Care Act, Social Security and Medicaid that millions of Americans rely on.

NOW: The NYT is reporting that Trump’s cruel and destructive actions have closely aligned with Project 2025 after all – just like we knew they would.

There they go again, ripping away your health care in order to enrich their big money MAGA donors.

The last time the Republicans had a majority in the House and Senate and Trump in the White House, they passed a tax cut for the rich that gave 83% of the benefits to the top 1% in our country and added $2 TRILLION to the national debt.

They are literally DOUBLING DOWN with a scheme to add $4 TRILLION to the national debt – and GUT MEDICAID that 72 million Americans rely on, to give an even bigger handout to their billionaire MAGA donors including Elon Musk.

So John, I’m marshaling a HISTORIC wave of grassroots support – 2,400 contributions before midnight – to send a resounding message to Trump/Musk and Republicans: Democrats will NEVER stop fighting their attempts to enact Project 2025 into law. John, together we can defeat EVERY swing district House Republican who supports Trump’s extremist agenda and elect Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker of the House – but only if grassroots supporters like you step up before it’s too late.
