In 2023, nine Victory Fund endorsed candidates were running for the state legislature in Virginia. And guess what? All nine of them won!

Because of their victories, there are pro-equality majorities in both the Virginia House and Senate. This wins mean that LGBTQ+ rights were protected and the right to choose wasn't be rolled back. That's worth celebrating!

We worked hard to ensure LGBTQ+ candidates like Danica Roem, Joshua Cole and more had the resources and support to win. During the primaries, my team knocked doors for Rozia Henson, Laura Jane Cohen and Kelly Convirs-Fowler, ensuring their voters knew it was time to cast their ballots. And in the general election, we hit the doors for Danica and Joshua - two key seats needed for the majorities.

Danica, Joshua and all of our Virginia candidates had a plan to win. It's an honor to help them do so.
