Hi folks – Tony Evers here, Governor of Wisconsin, with an important message:

Republicans in Congress are being cheerleaders, letting Donald Trump be a king instead of doing their job. That means it falls on us, Democratic governors, to serve as the last line of defense and lead the fight for progress.

So I have a question for you today to help inform our work:

The Trump administration's reckless actions are causing chaos and uncertainty here in Wisconsin and across the country.

They’re gutting funding for life-saving medical research and threatening to withhold critical federal funding that supports kids, families and seniors – while trying to give people like Elon Musk access to sensitive personal information.

In the face of this chaos, Democratic governors like myself have remained steady and ready to lead. We’re taking action to defend our progress, protect our freedoms, and move our states forward.

Here in Wisconsin, I’m working to lower prescription drug prices and protect Wisconsinites from price gouging
Gov. Kelly in Kansas is working to expand Medicaid and fully fund public schools.
Gov. Hochul in New York signed shield laws to protect abortion patients and providers, and is fighting to protect a doctor who prescribed abortion pills from prosecution in Louisiana – working to safeguard reproductive access no matter what state you live in.
Gov. Whitmer in Michigan signed 16 bills to expand reproductive freedom and make contraception more affordable.
Gov. Hobbs in Arizona is working to forgive billions of dollars worth of medical debt for up to a million Arizonans.
Across the country, Democratic governors are answering the call. But as we face a Republican trifecta in Washington, input from grassroots supporters like you is invaluable in deciding our top priorities.

It’s going to take all of us coming together – including you – to fight for what’s right.

So I’m launching a new Priorities Survey and I’m counting on at least 38 supporters from the District of Columbia to complete it before midnight.
