While many passionate and vocal supporters of Israel and the Jewish people hold key positions, the voices of anti-Israel activists and politicians on both ends of the political spectrum have grown louder and more emboldened than ever. On the far left, hostility toward Israel is often framed through the lens of social justice, fueling efforts to delegitimize the Jewish state. On the far right, extremist rhetoric and isolationism continue to pose their own set of challenges. Our latest article, "The Growing Threat of 'America First' Isolationism: A Danger to the U.S, Israel, and Their Alliance", explores the rising tide of isolationist sentiment within the Republican Party and its potential risks to America's global leadership and the U.S.-Israel alliance. This movement, often referred to as the "restrainers," advocates for a retreat from international commitments, including reducing or eliminating American aid to Israel. In the article, we examine historical precedents that demonstrate how U.S. disengagement has emboldened adversaries, weakened alliances, and undermined national security. We emphasize that Israel’s security is not just a Jewish concern but a vital American strategic interest. Our 2021 article, “Whether You Voted for Trump or Biden, All Americans Must Come Together Against Radicalization,” explored how the Middle East peace agreements, the Abraham Accords, have fostered stability in a historically volatile region, largely due to strong U.S. leadership and engagement, underscoring the importance of America working alongside its allies to promote global peace. Likewise, at home, we argued that Americans must reject extremism in all its forms, recognizing that unity, dialogue, and strategic cooperation are essential to safeguarding both domestic and international interests.
