Nebraska Master Naturalist is a statewide program that recruits, trains and manages naturalist volunteers. It's an experience like no other, combining fascinating coursework, interactive field trips and meaningful volunteer opportunities.

Here's just a few things you'll do as a Master Naturalist:

* *Positively impact the environment.* Once you're trained, amazing volunteer opportunities open up across the state — everything from education to stewardship, community science and recreation.
* *Gain valuable knowledge*. The one-of-a-kind training program offers in-depth knowledge about native plants, wildlife habitats, conservation principles and so much more — all taught by subject-matter experts.
* *Find a community.* Master naturalists get to meet and network with others who share their passion for nature and conservation. You'll also connect with local organizations doing important work.

*Want to learn more?* Check out Frequently Asked Questions [ [link removed] ]. If you have additional questions, contact program coordinator Jamie Bachmann <[email protected]>.

Open up a new world for yourself this year, and join more than 680 people as a certified Nebraska Master Naturalist. You can make a difference, and if you love to learn, there is a place for you in this program!
