I'm reaching out personally this morning to put the speculation to rest: I am not running for the U.S. Senate.

I love my job as Governor, and right now, I'm 100% focused on continuing our work together to make Minnesota the best state in the country to live, work, and raise a family.

While Donald Trump and Elon Musk are attacking federal workers, trying to slash essential programs, and gutting protections for working families, we're focused on feeding our kids, investing in our schools, and making sure child care is affordable.

We’re showing the rest of the country what it looks like to be a state that puts children first, stands up to bullies, and lifts everyone up. 

The example we’re setting together in Minnesota is needed more than ever, which is why I haven’t ruled out running for a third term. But let me be clear: Nothing we do is possible without you and the support you give us.
