Tonight, Republicans in Congress voted to gut Medicaid and rip healthcare away from millions of Pennsylvania and American children, senior citizens, disabled individuals, and workers living paycheck-to-paycheck. This budget would decimate rural hospitals, nursing homes, and the access to healthcare on which all of us depend. Simply put, this budget would cost lives.
As an ER Doc and state legislator, I fear for my patients, constituents, community, state, and country. I will fight to stop the enactment of this budget that represents the greatest threat to healthcare since the attempt to revoke the Affordable Care Act in 2017.
But I cannot do this alone. I need your help. Can you contribute $30, $50, $100, whatever you can to help me fight this existential threat to the health and well-being of Pennsylvania and our country?
