Dear John,

We have three online events planned for June, and I hope you’ll be able to join us. Previous events are listed on our website including Wednesday’s discussion on the privatisation of the NHS, together with additional materials mentioned during the session (articles, websites and another film available online).

On Monday, June 1st, we’ll be having an online gathering to catch up – no need to register as I’ll send another mailing just beforehand.

Thursday, June 11th at 8pm
RECLAIMING LONDON FOR ACTIVE TRAVEL
The Covid crisis has changed the way in which we travel and use roads. More people than ever are cycling and walking, many of us are seeing the benefits of active travel. How can we reclaim urban space from cars, enabling social distancing while revitalising business and communities?

This online discussion will look at various proposals to give more road space to pedestrians, joggers, cyclists and other active travellers.

With guest speakers:
Caroline Russell, Member of the London Assembly and national transport spokesperson for the Green Party
Hamish Stewart, co-founder of CarFree London

Some reading in advance of the event:
Covid-19, clean air and safe streets
Traffic-free plan for Portobello Road to help market traders

Please register here. We'll email the link about 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.

Wednesday, June 24th at 7pm
