Friend – last week, Senate Republicans wasted no time passing the most pro-billionaire, anti-middle-class budget I have ever seen. 

This budget puts funding for programs like SNAP, Medicaid, and Medicare in the woodchipper all to make way for Republicans’ ultimate goal of more tax breaks for billionaires. And as if it couldn’t get any worse, it does NOTHING to stop Trump and Elon Musk’s slashing of federal agencies – in fact, it doubles down on it! 

I stayed up all night to help offer amendments that would protect people’s health care, restore lifesaving research at NIH, help make housing more affordable, prohibit tax cuts for people who earn over $1 billion dollars, and so much more. Senate Republicans blocked every single one of them. 

If you agree that we should not be gutting programs working families rely on to give more tax handouts to billionaires, sign my petition now.
