This week the Senate will vote on Linda McMahon for Secretary of Department of Education, a position that manages the federal student loan portfolio, supports districts serving students with disabilities, and provides money to help districts in lower-income
communities.

We need your help in contacting your Senators and telling them to vote NO on Linda McMahon for Secretary of Department of Education.

Young people deserve an Education Secretary that is willing to commit to protecting them throughout their education and to reaching their full potential. Instead, Linda McMahon has voiced her support to gut public education and dissolve the Department of Education, and is at the ready to take public school funding and send it to private schools through school vouchers. Added to this, is the looming threat of a loss of federal funding if schools don’t comply with a DEI ban within two weeks.

Students and young people deserve better. Linda McMahon is not fit to be Secretary of Education and should not be confirmed. Contact your Senators today and urge them to vote NO.
