It’s that time of year again, folks: tomorrow is my friend Tim Kaine’s birthday.

So I’m asking: will you add your name to Senator Kaine’s digital birthday card?

I could say a lot about Tim. After 40+ years of being colleagues and friends, I think I’ve gotten to know him pretty well. I could talk about his enviable determination, relentless optimism, or his decades-long record of standing up for Virginians.

But what I really want to say is: having a partner like Tim in the Senate in these difficult times makes all the difference.

I know that no matter what, I can count on Tim to fight alongside me against the Trump administration so we can curb the chaos and get things done for Virginians and all Americans.
