Mexico & Canada Stunned—Trump Just Pulled the Trigger!

United States: In a firm declaration on Monday, President Donald Trump confirmed that the sweeping tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico would proceed as initially planned following the expiration of the current month-long suspension next week.
“The tariffs are moving forward, right on schedule,” Trump asserted during a White House press briefing when queried about the reactivation of the postponed tariffs targeting two of America’s most critical trade allies.
The president reiterated his long-standing grievance that the United States has been “taken advantage of” by foreign powers in “virtually every sector,” reinforcing his commitment to implement what he described as “reciprocal tariffs,” as reported by CNBC News.
“Absolutely, the tariffs will go through, and we’re prepared to reclaim considerable leverage,” Trump declared, maintaining his characteristic directness.
On February 1st, Trump issued executive orders imposing a 25 percent tariff on imports from Mexico and Canada, along with a 10% tax on Canadian energy products.
