THIS JUST IN… Speaker Mike Johnson has scheduled an important vote tonight on a budget resolution that is critical to advancing President Trump’s agenda. It’s not at all clear that Republicans will unite and stand together as Democrats would in a situation like this. If we lose more than one GOP vote, the resolution won’t pass.

Leftist Rent-a-Mobs

Have you seen the news about Republican members of Congress getting blasted at town hall events by angry voters infuriated by Elon Musk’s efforts to cut waste in the government? These demonstrations occurred all over the country during last week’s congressional recess.

Democrats and their left-wing media allies want you to believe there is a massive groundswell of opposition building against President Trump’s agenda. Not only are these demonstrations aimed at Republicans in Congress, there’s evidence they are also being aimed at conservative and Christian organizations.

Don’t fall for it!

It turns out that these protests were generated by left-wing activists and organizations like Indivisible and MoveOn. These Soros-funded groups organized leftist “mobilization” events to scare Republican members of Congress, particularly those in swing districts.

While the left is desperately trying to turn Elon Musk into a supervillain, it’s not working with voters. The left-wing media outlet Axios conducted a focus group in one tossup GOP district targeted by MoveOn. Axios discovered that 8 out of the 11 focus group participants supported Musk’s efforts to cut waste and corruption.

I urge everyone to do a reality check on what you’re hearing. Is it real? Or is it another chapter in the war we are in against the neo-Marxists who want big government to control everything, most importantly, us?

Screams From The Swamp

The screaming of federal workers and other defenders of the bureaucracy (Democrats and their media allies) because some people are getting furloughed or laid off is really amazing, particularly because that’s how the rest of us live.

Most American workers have to worry about their performance, whether they are working hard enough, and whether their company is competitive and making profits in order to maintain their jobs.

Last year, Citigroup announced 20,000 layoffs. Boeing announced 17,000. UPS announced 12,000 job cuts.

Most American workers are envious of the great healthcare benefits federal workers have, as well as their retirement plans. Most Americans have heard enough about the waste in the federal government that they know there is plenty of fat to cut.

Way back when Bill Bennett and I were leading the Department of Education, we managed 16,000 employees and couldn’t figure out what all of them were doing. So, we created an efficiency commission made up of business executives.

They conducted an audit and concluded we could do everything the department was doing not with 16,000 employees, not with 12,000, not with 8,000, but with just 800 employees.

So, Bill Bennett and I started working on how we could get the number of department employees as close to 800 as we could. We knew full well that we probably wouldn’t get to that number, but it was worth trying.

Unfortunately, Capitol Hill caught wind of what we were doing and passed a law setting a floor for how many employees had to be at the Department of Education. That floor, coincidentally, just happened to be the number of employees we had. That helps explain why the federal government just gets bigger and bigger.

Musk To The NSA

We’re constantly being told that all the federal bureaucrats are working as hard as they possibly can. They just don’t have a second to spare. And how dare Elon Musk ask what five things they accomplished last week?!

Well, here’s evidence that not everyone is paying attention to their job responsibilities.

Among the federal employees you would most expect to be hyper-focused on their jobs, are those in the intelligence community. But apparently employees at the National Security Agency have used the NSA’s official internal messaging program for obscene “sex chats” that one source said “occurred mostly on taxpayer time.”

Transgender surgical procedures were a hot topic of discussion, along with other troubling subjects. Not surprisingly, some NSA employees are concerned about the “mental fitness” of other intelligence community staff members.

Elon Musk and the DOGE team certainly have their work cut out for them auditing the myriad of government agencies. But they can’t get to the NSA fast enough!

What Democrats Are Defending

Here’s a perfect example of the waste Trump and Musk are cutting. The largest LGBTQ lobbying group in Great Britain just announced that it was slashing its staff of 114 employees in half.

Why? Well, it turns out that the largest LGTBQ lobby group in Great Britain was a USAID front group that can’t survive without your money.

That’s how Joe Biden was spending your hard-earned tax dollars. That’s what Democrats are defending when they attack President Trump and Elon Musk.

How Low Can It Go?

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem just announced that apprehensions at the southern border fell to just 200 in one day, breaking a 15-year record.

The decline has been so precipitous that New York Mayor Eric Adams is closing the Roosevelt Hotel, which had been converted into a migrant housing shelter. The hotel processed 173,000 illegal aliens during the Biden years when the Big Apple was taking 4,000 migrants a week.

But now the Roosevelt Hotel migrant center is closing because the influx of migrants is down 91%.

Remember when Joe Biden, the media, and all the wise talking heads were telling you there was no way to get the border under control unless we passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill?

Biden said he did everything he could do without legislation from Congress. That was a lie. And, of course, we know the word “comprehensive” really means an amnesty bill.

So, what explains this dramatic change in illegal immigration? Well, there are many factors. But one thing not involved is any new law.

One critical factor is that the ultimate “border guard” is the president of the United States. We changed that “guard” from a wimp to a warrior when we replaced Joe Biden with Donald Trump.

After taking office, Trump immediately restarted construction of the border wall.

Instead of Biden flying migrants into the country, we’re now running flights returning migrants back to their home countries.

We sent military personnel to the border to provide backup and to allow Border Patrol agents to do their job. Previously, Biden had them babysitting, changing diapers, and handing out cell phones.

The word has spread that there are no “Get Out of Jail Free” cards for illegal aliens caught at the border. There’s no piece of paper saying to show up in four years for a court hearing. Now, they’re getting the message that anyone who crosses the border illegally might end up in Gitmo.

Just like the word spread all over the world that under Sleepy Joe America had no borders, the word has spread that under Donald Trump, you’re figuratively going to get punched in the nose if you enter our country illegally. The American people are sick and tired of being taken advantage of.

Maybe Something Big

In recent years, it has been shocking how often unconfirmed reports later became headlines after everyone was done denying the initial reports. That said, there is an unconfirmed report that security officials at the White House detected a faint electronic signal in the Oval Office that they couldn’t explain. Was it just background noise or something more sinister?

The rumor is that they zeroed in on the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office and discovered a science fiction-level minute listening device that resulted in the desk being removed to see if there is anything else that was previously undetected.

But I want to repeat that none of this has been confirmed by any mainstream media or conservative media outlet. It’s just a rumor among the “rightwing blogosphere.”
