There's no room for timidity. We
need fearless action — now. - Denis Hayes, organizer of the
first Earth Day
Hi,
Fifty-five years after the first
Earth Day, and as the world reaches a tipping point, our leaders have
chosen this moment to roll back environmental and health protections,
crush renewable energy, and torpedo the green economy, all to put more
money in the hands of the oil companies and the super rich. With
climate change upon us, biodiversity crashing, and plastic and toxics
filling our bodies, now is the time for action.
Earth Action Day is our chance to collectively take
action — educate, advocate,
and mobilize — toward a healthy environment for all. Stand with
individuals, educators, faith leaders, and activists across the globe
to demand a livable future. Whether you’re pressuring lawmakers,
organizing a cleanup or educating your community — your voice
matters.
The
fight for a livable planet starts now.

We’ve done this before, and
we can do it again. Together, we can push back against
rollbacks, expand renewable energy, end the plastic tsunami
overwhelming our planet, and make this Earth Day, and every day, a day
of action.
For action,
Kathleen Rogers President
