President Trump and Congressional Republicans intend to take away health care and food aid. Today’s vote is our first opportunity to stop them.
Friend,
Today, the House plans to vote on the House budget resolution, which, if passed, will set the stage for severe cuts to health care and nutrition programs that millions of working families, seniors, and children depend on.
Our policy team stands ready to fight for a budget that uplifts us all, but we need your help.
TAKE ACTION
This budget resolution is the first — and critical — step in the Republican agenda to slash vital services. If it passes, it will mandate over $2 trillion in cuts to give tax breaks to the wealthiest 1%. These cuts can only be made by slashing Medicaid and SNAP, threatening health care for seniors and people with disabilities, and taking food off the tables of children and families. To learn more about what’s at stake, read our letter to the House of Representatives.
Take action now to tell your legislators: Vote NO on the House Budget Resolution.
TAKE ACTION
This budget agenda is a massive giveaway to billionaires, while everyday Americans are left to pick up the tab. If passed, more people will struggle to pay bills and buy groceries, more children will go hungry, and fewer families will have access to lifesaving health care.
We can stop this. If Democrats unite in opposition and just a few Republicans stand with them, we can defeat this harmful proposal and protect essential programs in every congressional district.
Contact your legislators now and demand they vote NO on this dangerous budget resolution.
