Here's what EMILYs List women are doing to hold the extremists in the Trump administration accountable:
- Rep. Emilia Sykes (OH-13) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (MA) reintroduced the Stop Anti-Abortion Disinformation Act to prevent crisis pregnancy centers from spreading anti-abortion disinformation.
- Mayor Michelle Wu (Boston, MA) said the city will not assist federal officials in enforcing the Trump administration's extremist immigration laws.
- A coalition of 15 Democratic Attorneys General, including Kathy Jennings (DE), Andrea Campbell (MA), Letitia James (NY), and Charity Clark (VT), denounced Trump's executive order that would threaten transgender young people's access to gender-affirming care.
- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (MI) signed 16 bills to expand reproductive freedoms and make health care necessities — such as birth control — more accessible to Michiganders.
- Sen. Jacky Rosen (NV) introduced the Born in the USA Act to block the implementation of Trump's unconstitutional executive order attempting to end birthright citizenship.
