When they said there was a ceasefire, what they actually meant was that they were going to make Palestinians cease existing.

Since he became president, Trump has continued to dehumanize Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims—and he probably doesn’t even know the difference between those three groups!

Now, his rhetoric has gone beyond dehumanization to openly supporting ethnic cleansing. We’ve already emailed you about his plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza. But now it’s not just advocacy groups like us that can see this for what it is. Trump’s plans are so explicitly genocidal that even mainstream media outlets like The New York Times are calling this what it is: ethnic cleansing.

From the op-ed by Michelle Goldberg:So far, of course, both Israel and the United States have spoken of the removal of Palestinians from Gaza as if it would be voluntary. No doubt some Palestinians would choose to leave the land that Israel has made uninhabitable if they had a decent alternative, which they don’t. But many of the enclave’s nearly more than two million people, seared by a history of dispossession, are determined to stay put. Driving them out would be a war crime. It could not be accomplished without atrocity.

She's 100% right—and in a time of crisis like this, we need Democrats in Congress to set aside what they view as their political obligations and instead stand unequivocally for what’s right because we sure as hell know that Republicans won't. These Democrats need to return their AIPAC money and stop sending taxpayer cash to Netanyahu’s murderous regime.

We’re ramping up to fund primary challenges against “progressives” in Congress who use their positions to support the Israeli military’s crimes but we need a whole lot of resources to make that happen. We’re asking grassroots donors like you to help us clean up the Progressive Caucus. Can you donate $15, $25, or even $100 to help us primary people in Congress who enable war crimes?

AIPAC has hundreds of millions of dollars to pour into congressional races but we have you!

Sometimes it feels like we’re losing the fight for human rights but if mainstream media like the New York Times will publish op-eds calling this what it is, maybe there’s hope that we can elect people who will oppose apartheid and genocide.

Let’s end the oppression of Palestinians together,
