[1]U.S. Senator Chris Murphy

When Republicans took to the floor this week to force through phase one of Trump’s billionaire tax cut, Chris’ response was to the point:

Trickle-down economics is a scam.

If you agree, add your name and say you want to see corporations and the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share.

When you put so much money into the hands of the ultra-wealthy and corporations, it does not benefit everyone else.

It stays in their own pockets to make them even richer. Corporations use it for stock buybacks and increasing CEO pay — again benefitting the already richest among us. It separates the rich from the poor — worsening inequality.

Republicans claimed in 2017 that the first Trump tax cut would increase income for the average family by $4,000. But we have the data, and the increase was $4,000 or even $500…it was ZERO!

Chris is going to keep fighting to stop Republicans’ reverse Robin Hood — stealing money from people like you to increase the wealth of billionaires and corporations.

If you agree with him that trickle-down economics is a scam, please add your name to support his fight and make it clear that it’s long past time for the ultra-wealthy to pay their fair share.
