Jane Doe is a courageous survivor who cooperated with law enforcement in the investigation of Andrew and Tristan Tate's alleged sex trafficking crimes. Because she did this—because she tried to help and did the right thing—the Tates have waged a campaign to ruin her life.

The infamous brothers have persecuted, harassed, and defamed Jane in the most vile ways. They have filed baseless lawsuits, suing Jane and her parents for millions of dollars.

In 2024, you have once again sparked monumental victories in the fight against corporate-facilitated sexual exploitation.

Here are just a few of the incredible changes you made happen:

👉Google now filters AI-generated image-based sexual abuse (commonly called “deepfake” pornography) when a user successfully reports the content.

👉Instagram defaulted teen accounts to higher safety settings, including automatically making the account private.

👉Telegram's CEO was arrested as part of an investigation into rampant child sexual exploitation on the platform. Following this arrest, the company finally began cooperating with law enforcement rather than sheltering criminals under the guise of privacy.

Reem Alsalem Responds to Criticisms of Her UN Report on Prostitution

In June 2024, Reem Alsalem, the UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women and Girls, released a groundbreaking report on prostitution. This report told the truth about prostitution with astonishing clarity, examining it as a system of exploitation that perpetuates male violence against women and girls.

Sadly, Alsalem and her report have since been attacked viciously. But now, she has released a compelling response to these attacks, again holding fast to the truth of prostitution. 

"When prostituted women’s testimonies are given the weight they deserve; when the data is allowed to speak for itself, it is clear that prostitution is a system of violence against women and girls," Alsalem states.

Senate Judiciary Committee Discusses Legal Gaps in Child Online Safety

A 13-year-old girl was abducted by a 40 year-old predator. A national manhunt ensued to try to track down the criminal and rescue the girl. 

Law enforcement attempted to obtain information from BandLab, the site on which the 13-year-old and the predator had met. Yet BandLab refused to provide information that could have led to the young girl's quick rescue.  

Instead, the girl was raped repeatedly by the 40 year-old for eight consecutive days. 

This girl is now suing BandLab for the part they played in her abuse. What defence does BandLab provide? That they are immune from liability, under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. 

Stories like these are why Congress MUST move to repeal Section 230. On Wednesday February 19th, The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing to discuss Section 230 and other legal gaps in child online safety. Watch the recording of the hearing below.
