John, I just finished meeting with over a dozen federal workers fired by Donald Trump without warning.
These aren’t just any workers: they’re Republicans, many of who voted for Trump, lifelong Independents, and Democrats. They hail from across the country and worked at agencies like the Department of Veterans Affairs, the CDC, the National Park Service, and the IRS. They were studying bird flu to keep us healthy, protecting families from lead paint, responding to natural disasters, and serving our veterans. Now? They’re out of a job because of Trump’s reckless purge.
Unacceptable.
