When wildfires tore through Los Angeles, Jessica was just days into her first term as California state assembly member. And instead of settling in, Jessica sprung into action.

Her team worked around the clock to ensure residents had the most up-to-date information. She joined Mayor Karen Bass and other leaders in media briefings to keep the public informed. And within days, she introduced two bills: AB 262, providing immediate fire aid to families, and AB 265, offering grants to help small businesses and nonprofits rebuild.
