Hi —
it’s Tjada,

One of the common challenges our teams face when delivering aid in
conflict zones is the restrictions imposed by governments or armed groups.

They make it hard for our teams to access where help is needed most — by
imposing strict movement and travel restrictions, politicizing our aid,
and creating violent conditions that risk the safety of aid workers.

However, when Mercy Corps teams can quickly deliver aid while keeping
humanitarian workers safe, our collective efforts save thousands of lives
and bring hope to millions more.

[ [link removed] ]That’s why I am personally asking you to make a powerful gift today to
support our work in 40+ countries around the globe. Your gift will help
fill up trucks with supplies, enable us to staff up in urgent crisis
zones, ensure our team members have the resources they need, and so much
more.

[ [link removed] ]I recently visited Somalia and Lebanon with some of the amazing
humanitarians who execute Mercy Corps’ mission day to day.

Here are some places where your gift today will amplify our team members’s
efforts in crisis zones:

In Gaza, where more than 2 million people need humanitarian
assistance, our teams will continue to provide emergency, hygiene, and
food kits to support families’ health and nutritional needs.

In Ukraine, 12.7 million people need humanitarian assistance, our
teams will continue to provide shelter, repair homes, and rebuild
lives.

In Sudan, where 24.6 million people need assistance, our teams will
continue assisting small farmers, delivering clean water, and
increasing families’ economic livelihoods.

Despite the challenges on the way, our teams continue to work relentlessly
to ensure that aid reaches those who desperately need it.

95% of Mercy Corps team members work in places where they are from and
often experience the same crisis as the people they are helping. That
means they can identify the unique needs and the most effective ways to
make a difference.

member’s efforts go much further with a gift today. Please make a gift of
$15, $15, 50, or whatever you can afford to help us build a bigger,
brighter future for all.
