Every day in Washington, we witness Trump and Elon Musk dismantling our federal government piece by piece.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: no one elected Elon Musk. Ohioans didn’t vote for him. We didn’t ask him to try and dismantle the Department of Education. Or to cut thousands of federal jobs. Or to tear apart the U.S. Agency for International Development. All Ohioans want is to be able to put food on their tables for their families, get a good education for their children, and afford healthcare.

Here’s the kicker: Ohio Republicans in Congress have failed to protect you from Musk’s damage.

GOP Representatives Jim Jordan and Mike Turner had the opportunity to look at Musk’s actions and hold him accountable—instead they voted against any oversight at all. They prefer to look the other way so they can be buddies with the country’s richest man.

We can’t trust Ohio Republicans to protect us in Washington and we absolutely cannot trust Musk to look out for Ohioans.
